Who is eligible:
Contest is open to all ASPB members in good standing. 

How to participate:
Refer a colleague, use the REFER A COLLEAGUE link under the MY PROFILE on the right hand side of the screen after you log in.  Refer a colleague who has never been a member of ASPB or has not been a member for at least 3 years by December 31, 2013 to be counted towards the 2013 Referral Program.

Rewards for Participation:

Monthly Prizes:
For each referral made, whether the person joins or not, you will get your name entered into that month's drawing for a $50 Amazon.com gift certificate. 
For each person you refer that joins, your name will be entered a second time into the montly drawing for the $50 Amazon.com gift certificate. 

One $50 Amazon.com gift certificate to be given away each month starting at the end of September 2012 thru March 2013

Get 5 New Members:
If 5 people you refer join, then you will receive free registration for Plant Biology 2013 in Providence, Rhode Island.  This prize is limited to the first 5 winners who qualify by the end of March 2013.

GRAND PRIZE:
The the person who brings in the most new member, after 5 new members, will receive free registration for Plant Biology 2013, free airline fare (up to $500) and four nights free hotel stay in Providence, Rhode Island.  This prize will be awarded by around the time that early bird registration ends for Plant Biology 2013. 

Other Rules:

• Contest rules are subject to change by the ASPB Membership Committee. By entering the contest, members agree that ASPB decisions are final and not open to challenge.
• Contest run from September 2012 through March 2013. 
• No purchase necessary to enter or win. The number of entries received determines odds of winning. All federal, state, and local laws apply. Void where prohibited. ASPB reserves the right to change the prizes offered.
• ASPB employees and their immediate families are not eligible to participate.
