Brassinosteroids are steroid hormones essential for plant growth and development. The intensive work of the last two decades has supposed a great advance for the molecular understanding of Brassinosteroid action in the plant. At this stage, we have considered important to gather all scientists working in Brassinosteroids to disseminate new knowledge, future perspectives and to promote interaction among researchers working in the field. In addition, the conference will be a good opportunity for scientist working in other related areas of Plant or Animal research to be in the vanguard of the Brassinosteroid field. The Scientific committee is formed by a group of Plant Scientists currently funded by a "Marie Curie International Training Network” named BRAVISSIMO from the FP7 program at the European Union. Our network aims to carry research training based on collaborative and interdisciplinary research in the BR field (http://www.bravissimo-fp7.eu/).
