The Global Resistance Challenge 2013 conference will be held in the beautiful portside city of Fremantle, Perth, Western Australia. We welcome everyone who wishes to discover the latest advances in herbicide resistance to Perth in February 2013, to experience a magnificent Western Australian late summer. The Global Resistance Challenge 2013 conference will be a landmark in herbicide resistance science and practice in global crops. Registration is open and early bird conference registration deadline has been extended to October 1st 2012. However, we suggest you register as early as possible, especially to secure accommodation at the conference venue, Fremantle's Esplanade Hotel. The early bird rate is $880 for adults and $550 for students. PhD students have the opportunity to apply for free conference registration and to be eligible, students must register and submit an abstract(s) by October 1st 2012. Successful students will be advised in November 2012. The conference committee have endeavoured to organise events that provide a good opportunity to network, whilst giving participants a ‘taste' of Fremantle and Perth. The conference commences on Sunday afternoon with an opening function, which will be a ‘meet and greet' opportunity and also a chance to find out a little more about the week's activities.
