The Plant Biology Graduate Program at UMass Amherst is hosting a full-day symposium "War or Peace? Interactions between plants and microbes" on Saturday, October 6, 2012. Speakers are: Xinnian Dong, Duke University; John Manners, CSIRO Plant Industry, Australia; Gregory Martin, Boyce Thompson Institute; Graham Walker, MIT; and Roger Wise, USDA-ARS, Iowa State.
